Why We Built This

It started at bedtime. We wanted to tell our kids stories where they were the main character — stories that taught kindness, courage, and curiosity. We couldn't find anything that felt personal enough, so we built it ourselves.

We're two dads who believe a good story can shape a child's world. Every book on Sparktale is made with the same love and intention we put into the stories we tell our own children.

Daniel shapes what Sparktale makes — the stories worth telling, the art styles worth painting, and the quality bar the AI has to clear. He spends most of his time on the part you never see: making sure a book reads and looks so good that a parent doesn't notice a machine helped.

Daniel Abitbul

Engineering & AI

Daniel builds how Sparktale works — the AI pipeline that turns your child's photo into a consistent illustrated character, and the platform, printing and shipping that turn it into a hardcover on your shelf. If it's fast and it works, that's his doing.
